Title: Adventure-packed stay with fantastic views
I loved that the bathroom and shower were located outside my room. It was such a delightful surprise!

The hotel staff was excellent. They were happy to give advice about day trips and other local information. The hotel bar is frequented by locals and we were lucky enough to be able to hear a singing, yodelling group who were there to socialize on one of the days of our stay. The manager owner's English was absolutely fluent. If you expect a room with a tv, room service, and brand new furniture, forget it. But our room was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable.. Bathrooms are shared, but we never had a problem getting a shower when needed. the price is very low compared to a lot of area hotels. An English walking club group stayed at the hotel while we were there. Apparently they have used this hotel for over 30 years. A pretty good recommendation! If we come again we will definitely return to this establishment.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and very enthusiastic. I will return, simply for their plesant nature. The Hotel is family owned and run, and it shows. Comes highly recommended for anyone looking for affordable accommodation. Thankyou, Julian and Sarah, Australia

The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. They were always ready to assist with any questions or concerns I had, and their warm and welcoming attitude made me feel right at home. the location of the hotel was also perfect, situated just on the edge of town.
One downside I experienced during my stay was the lack of ventilation in the rooms. There was no fan or way to cool off if the weather was warm or humid, which made it slightly uncomfortable at times.

We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Europe on our honey moon. Part of our trip was planned to be on Interlaken. We had a great surprise when we came to this hotel, we were very well attended by the couple that runs the hotel and as we were on honey moon they offered us a great room with private bathroom, television and a wonderful view to the mountains. The hotel also has a private parking which is very useful if you are travelling with a car. This was a very pleasant stay and we would definitely stay at this hotel again on a new opportunity.
Nothing at all.

We like the hotel very much. It is located in the country, but very quiet and beautiful surroundings. The boss and his wife is also very nice and humane. We recommend it 100%.

During my stay at Budget Waldhotel Unspunnen, I had a memorable experience that made my visit truly special. I was surprised to discover that I had stayed at this hotel 51 years ago with my school group. The staff and owner went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, even finding the guest book from that year and showing me my own signature. They even offered me a whiskey to celebrate the occasion. The breakfast and restaurant were excellent, and the option to do laundry for only 5 francs was a great added convenience. The shared bathrooms and toilets were never an issue, and I appreciated the hotel's free parking. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
While my stay at Budget Waldhotel Unspunnen was overall fantastic, there were a couple of minor drawbacks to note. The nearest bus stop was a 15-minute walk through the woods, which could be challenging, especially if you have heavy luggage.

The hotel has two buildings, one is sharing bathrooms with public while the other is room independent. In spite of host's warm heartedness, the isolation among rooms is very bad because of the fact that the building i stayed is too old to accomodation and very noisy plus it is located along the roadside.

Owners are very kind, welcoming and helpful. It's a bit outside of the city and thus very quiet. The hotel itself is charming (19th and beggining of the 20th century). Nice breakfast buffet. Breathtaking view.
